Data Deletion Instructions

IVIDENTIA Forensics & Compliance Audit (“IVIDENTIA”) gives every user the right to request deletion of the personal data we hold about them, free of charge and regardless of country of residence.

This page explains exactly how to make that request and what happens next. For the full description of our data practices, see our Privacy Policy.

What data we hold

Depending on how you have interacted with us, we may hold:

• Contact details — name, email address, telephone number, organisation
• Message content — enquiries you sent through our contact form, email or social media
• Newsletter data — your email address and subscription status
• Uploaded files — any document you voluntarily submitted through the Website
• Meta platform data — public profile identifier, name, profile picture, email address (where you authorised it), and the content of messages, comments or lead form submissions directed to IVIDENTIA
• LinkedIn platform data — profile identifier, name, headline, profile picture, email address (where you authorised it), and the content of messages or form submissions directed to IVIDENTIA
• Analytics and advertising identifiers — cookie and pixel identifiers associated with your browsing of our Website

How to request deletion

Step 1. Send an email to contact@ividentia.com with the subject line:

Step 2. In the body of the message, include:

• the email address, account name or platform identifier the request relates to;
• which data you want deleted (or state “all data” for a complete deletion).

Step 3. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm your identity. That information is used for verification only and is discarded afterwards.

Step 4. We complete the deletion within 30 days of verification and send you written confirmation.

Deleting data directly on the platform

Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → select the IVIDENTIA application → Remove → then request data deletion from the Removed section.

LinkedIn Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy → Other applications → Permitted Services → remove the IVIDENTIA application.

Removing the application stops any further data flow. To delete data we have already received, still send the email described above.

Where deletion cannot be completed in full

We will tell you clearly and in writing if any of the following applies to part of your data, and we will delete everything not covered by it.

Judicial and evidentiary records. IVIDENTIA acts as a court-appointed expert and as a party-appointed technical assistant. Data that forms part of the record of judicial, arbitral or administrative proceedings, or of an expert report already delivered to a court, cannot be deleted at the request of a data subject. Deleting it would compromise the integrity of evidence and the chain of custody, and would conflict with obligations imposed on us by law and by the courts. (GDPR Art. 17(3)(b) and (e); LGPD Art. 16, I and III.)

Statutory retention. Accounting, tax and contractual records must be retained for the periods required by Brazilian law.

Legal claims. Data necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims may be retained until the applicable limitation period expires.

Backups. Deleted data may persist in secure, encrypted backups for up to 90 days after removal from live systems, after which it is overwritten. It is not accessed or used for any purpose during that period.

No charge, no discrimination

We do not charge any fee for deletion requests and we do not treat you differently for making one.
